This training will introduce the participant to the importance of cultural awareness and cultural sensitivity in our daily lives. Myths about people, places, and things are prevalent in our society. During the training, participants will examine some of the false truths that can influence an individual’s view of the world.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the training, the participant shall be able to:
1. How programming affects the ways we view ourselves and others.
2. Identify blind spots and the understanding of them.
3. Demonstrate basic cultural competency skills that the participant can use to enhance and improve the interactions they have with co-workers, consumers, and the general public.
