Gizelle Rau
Meet Gizelle Rau, CASA of Terrebonne’s Administrative Assistant. Her diverse professional experience and hands-on learning have equipped her with valuable skills to contribute to day-to-day operations and needs of the program.
One of her proudest achievements was receiving the “Guardian Award” in 2023 at SLB, (formerly Schlumberger) for exceptional performance in supporting integrity and fatality-free operations. This recognition highlights her dedication to upholding the highest standards of excellence and safety in the workplace.
In her personal life, she cherishes every moment with her husband, Andrew, and wonderful children Kurden, Greyson, and Hazel. Her family is at the heart of everything she does, and she is dedicated to creating the best opportunities for her children's interests and passions. Alongside her commitment to family, she actively contributes to the community as a member of the “Wolf Pack” for the Rougarou Festival, where she has been a volunteer since 2018. In her downtime, she enjoys playing fantasy football and cheering on the Saints, watching a variety of TV shows, spending quality time with her family and friends, and singing karaoke.
Gizelle stated, “I am eager to be on this new journey assisting the board, staff, and volunteers for CASA of Terrebonne. My hope is to make a meaningful impact and serve my community with the utmost pride representing this great organization. I look forward to learning from my peers, contributing to my team, and enhancing awareness and visibility to our mission: To be a voice for children in foster care by advocating independently and objectively in the courts for their best interest.”
Join us in welcoming our newest staff member to the CASA family.
