Who We Are

Meet a CASA

June Price

June Price

Meet Advocate June Price. June is a devoted wife of 14 years to Dicky Price, and is a proud mother of three and grandmother to five. They have 2 dogs and one cat. June is a longtime Houma resident since 1992. She works as a secretary at Grand Caillou Elementary and enjoys swimming, fishing, traveling, and shopping. Born in New Orleans and raised in Miami, she has always had a passion for making a difference in a child’s life!

That passion led her to become a CASA advocate in 2024 after attending the CASA Crawfish Boil. June has been a CASA advocate for 10 months and counting. As a member of Class 70, she has already formed a strong bond with the child in her first case. She truly has a remarkable relationship with her CASA child and his family.

Her monthly CASA routine involves visiting her CASA child weekly, and she prepares for court by reviewing her notes with her supervisor.
Her greatest accomplishment? Her children!

Her advice to those considering CASA: “Do it – it is the most rewarding thing ever.” You have the power to make a real difference in a child’s life, to be the voice they need when they can’t speak for themselves. It’s not always easy, but the impact you make is lasting and life-changing - for them and for you.”
