Jennifer Kryvanick Hebert
Meet Jennifer Kryvanick. She was born and raised in Houma and has been an active CASA volunteer for five years. She has worked on three cases, each with a single child. Jennifer’s advocacy schedule can be a bit challenging at times as she spends a lot of time up in the clouds as a flight attendant. She has worked for JetBlue Airways for 22 years. Even with her demanding schedule, she manages to make time to visit her CASA child monthly and check in with other associated parties as needed. To prepare for her court report, Jennifer asks many questions of associated parties. She is an information seeker who finds the relevant information to make the most informed recommendations for the CASA children she serves. As we often say, you may not necessarily have the time, but you have the heart. Jennifer is a perfect example of that statement.
Jennifer is married to Bradley Hebert. They have been married for a year and a half but have been together for nine years. Jennifer is the mother of two precious boys who keep her downtime very full. She is also the stepmother to two adult children and "Honey" to two beautiful grandbabies. Jennifer loves spending time with her family. Her boys and their activities have become her hobby. She does, however, occasionally indulge in fancy food and cocktails.
Jennifer states that her greatest accomplishment with CASA is bonding with her sweet CASA babies and making sure they know someone is always in their corner. She shares that her CASA work is very fulfilling, and she continues to remain in touch with her previous CASA children. When asked what she would say to someone thinking about becoming a CASA volunteer, she said, “Definitely do it! The first month may be hectic because you have lots of people to meet. After that, it’s smooth sailing.”
Thank you, Jennifer, for your dedication to the CASA of Terrebonne program. We appreciate all that you do!
