Become a Traveling Tutor
Becoming a traveling tutor is a rewarding way for a CASA volunteer advocate or individual to give back to children in need.
Many times, children of all ages who are going through the foster care and child welfare system often encounter challenges when it comes to their school work and studies. This is a natural consequence of going through the system.
Here at CASA of Terrebonne, we are starting a Traveling Tutor Program where qualified individuals will be trained to tutor children in foster care.
In order to embark on this tutoring path, one must either already be a CASA volunteer advocate or agree to complete a 3-hour training course and undergo a comprehensive background check.
