SPRINGFEST 2009
A World of Fun!, a day that teaches children about countries around the world. Highlighting the art, music and food of many different cultures, with ongoing live, kid-friendly entertainment, Spring Fest: A World of Fun is Houma’s premier family event! This is the day, when Houma’s courthouse square will be transformed into a United Nations on the Bayou and a day of learning and fun!
Spring Fest 2009 ended up being a success. Even with rain on and off throughout the day, supporters of CASA continued to trickle into the courthouse square to get their face painted, sift through sand looking for diamonds and took a picture in England. Parents even enjoyed purchasing coffee in India and receiving a 10 minute massage in Italy. CASA of Terrebonne staff, board members and volunteers want to thank all who donated, volunteered and sponsored Spring Fest 2009. Proceeds from Spring Fest enable CASA to continue to offer its much needed help to children and families in our community. 100% of the revenues generated by the Spring Fest are guaranteed to go directly to CASA of Terrebonne, ensuring that CASA can continue speaking for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are involved in the court system.
