CASA Draw Down 2009 was a huge success. With not even selling the whole 300 tickets, only selling 285, CASA of Terrebonne was still able to profit $19,945.00 between tickets sales, sponsorships and donations. We are so excited with this accomplishment!!
The Draw Down was held at the Ramada Inn in their banquet room. Spahr’s graciously sponsored our event this year by assisting in frying fish, serving the food and providing staff for the cash bar. Our wonderful cooks provided an awesome dinner to all of the ticket purchasers, Mark Arceneaux donated his time by cooking the jambayla and white beans. Troy and Camille Babin roasted a pig. Betty Odum and Debra Neal cooked the green beans. Jeri Thompson prepared a salad. Skipper and Hilda Kornegay cooked the rice and several volunteers baked cakes and goodies for dessert. We also had a great time listening and dancing to The Joe Show Band. These five men did an awesome job keeping everyone entertained.
The Draw Down would not have been successful without the support of the sponsors and donors. CASA would like to thank the following companies and individuals:
Sponsors: Terrebonne General Medical Center, Caillou Towing, Mike and Ellen Fakier and The Griffin Agency
